Default Outboard kicker advice needed

Have 2010 E-Tec 15HP high output. It was on the boat when I bought it. Ran flawlessly until last year then started issues.

Currently will run fast or slow at ant speed then stops dead after 10-12 minutes. Will start again hours later. Thanks!

Pumping water strong? Sounds like it’s getting hot

Sounds like overheating or possibly fuel pick up or lift pump if it has one on it. If it’s from overheating I would start with the impeller fix or water pump. Probly goggle it and will show you how to put the new water pump impeller in leg of motor. My mercury 15 would do the samething when it would get hot and it was from the water pump not pumping water enough to cool the motor at trolling speed. At full tilt it would pump enough to keep the motor cool so it just depends on how wore out your impeller might be. Hopfully that helps.
