Default Twin Valley

Happy Long Weekend All!
Was thinking if hitting up Twin Valley Res south of Calgary tomorrow, but not sure if ice is still ok? Anyone have a approx measurement from the last day or so?

Thanks!

I have not heard anything but with the weather the way it's been and the warning put out by the govt. on so lakesI would be very cautious.

I do not think it would be wise to drive on but you never know till you get there and check it out for yourself.

Stay safe

Thanks Troller.
Yes, ice conditions are subject as this is the reason for the thread.
But I'm hoping for recent ice reports from the last few days if possible. Not planning to drive vehicle on regardless of conditions. Possibly a quad though...

About 15" of soft grey ice yesterday where I was at. Lots of large cracks starting and rotten ice along the shore. Definitely would not be driving a truck on, but should still be good to go on foot for a few days. Drill some test holes!

Checked it out today. Was set up on some thinner ice. 11" confirmed with tape measure. Won't be long until it's gone with these temps. Slow fishin also.

Yeah it was a slow day for us too. Probably going to be the last time I can get out there this year.
