I just killed a buck with mine last Friday! I wouldn't trade it for anything else! It's an awesome bow! Super smooth, accurate , and light! I smoked my buck at 45 yards and the arrow went right thru and hit the off side shoulder! It was sweet victory for me! Only have it set at 62.5 pounds! Looking to drop a moose with it this year too!

x3. Finally traded in my beloved Hoyt VTec for the CRX. So much smoother, quieter, faster, forgiving. Love the draw and solid wall. Haven't connected yet with it, but also passed up 3 animals that I could have had, in favor of what I have seen and gotten close to. The CRX is an awesome bow.

Great bow! Had one since last October and I've been pretty happy with mine. Not much of a valley. Just kind of a draw into the back wall. Which is fine, just don't let any of your buddies draw your bow, It's a dry fire waiting to happen when they hit the back wall and they're not expecting that sudden stop good thing it's built hoyt tough. Smooth draw, well balanced and dead in the hand. I draw 63 lbs and I'm getting 281 fps with a 372 gr arrow.

That's pretty quick, I'm at 62.5 pounds and only getting 256fps, but thats with a 430gr. Arrow, and a 28 inch draw!

I'm a 28" draw too. I'm shooting 350 maxima blue streak's with a QAD ultra drop away rest.
I was getting 289 out of the 250 maxima 3d selects at 347gr but i found I was underspined. Couldn't tune my slick trick 100gr standards. Kept hitting right.

Not sure what a carbon element is selling for, but the CRX is sitting right around the $900 mark. If I had to guess I would say the carbon element would be somewhere around $1200. If I recall the carbon matrix were pushing $1500 when they first came out and the price has dropped since then.
