Default Fishing the Red Deer River (Riverbend Golf Course Area)

Going to be in this area tomorrow, anyone with experience on good access spots or fish holding portions?

I have fished lots of other spots on the river but I'm a noob to this area.
Any help would be much appreciated and I'd be happy to share other spots and info in return.

You can park at the discovery canyon parking lot and walk to the foot bridge. Or if you want to access the west side of the river, riverside drive past the water treatment plant, small parking area along the walking trail. You may also follow the walking trail on the east side as it parallels the river all the way around Riverbend. As this area is a very large turn in the river, the best water seems to be along the west bank so access from the east is best. They lock the gate at dusk.
