Default How much does this fish weigh? (Estimate)

I'm somewhat new to fishing, and have no frame of reference to ballpark the weight of a fish. I caught this bass and I'm wondering about its approximate weight. Can anyone make an estimate for me? Thanks!

Looks around 2 lbs.

I wanted a scale for a long time but didn't want to spend big bucks on an electronic one and didn't want to buy a little crappy inaccurate one. Canadian Tire had a sale not too long ago and I finally got a digital scale, sure is nice to actually know a weight instead of guessing. I wasn't far off on my guesses though (was hoping I was guessing small lol).

Kpletz, a little off topic but I like the knife you have in the picture. I too have one like it can't remember the name of the manufacturer it holds an edge for a long time. Balance and weight is nice as well.

Somewhat of a story went with the knives from WW 2. My Uncle was a paratrooper they were given these knives so they could cut the paracords in emergency. He used it for years gave it to me in his will I still use it.
