use the search engine on here .. I did and posts are under pictures of lures and leader ... or

ph the Fish Bio and ask ......for your area fish Bio dial 310-0000 each zone has one and ask to be connected to Bio

here is one ph number for your area
Red Deer | (403)-340-5142

on the hooks I would use some thing like this with a leader walk around a lake looking for spots you can cast along or into the weeds

Sylvan Lake. Go to Marina Bay and fish from shore along the wharf. Tons of walleye but some pike big there too. Saw a kid pull a 20lber out of there 2 years ago. Everyone uses pickerel rigs, you could try that or be different and try to get one that isn't minnow shy.

Also the Red Deer River is a great place. I have caught them right by Power Ponds and also at the Burbank campground right at the confluence of the Red Deer and Blindman.

Pretty much everything there, walleye, pike, goldeye.... tons of different lures work there.
