Thanks

Just got into tying quite a bit last year, and a game changing discovery was discovering Antron yarn works amazing for Stimulator bodies. I'm sure you'll catch fish on those!

Have been playing around and trying to get a little minnow pattern. Took it for a spin in the tub, very nice action from the marabou and rabbit. Hope the fish like it half as much as I do.

This is what has been working the best for me recently on the bow. Tied up a few over the last couple days at work in hopes that the weather is nice upon my return to Calgary.

It's a soft red wire for the ribbed body, then purple peacock hurl, and then chinchilla neck hackle. I used grizzly hackle previously, but when I ran out I could not find anymore at the stores I visited, so I figured I would try the chinchilla neck hackle.

I have tried swinging it and nymphing with it and have had really good success nymphing with it. It is a size 8. It is the lead fly and then the trailer is usually a prince or pheasant tail in either size 12 or 14.

Little leech, tied with one pheasant rump feather. Tail is the down at the base of the feather, and the body is the aftershaft ribbed with wire.

Cool slow clap ....

Great spins fellas /ladies. The talents displayed thru the bobbin and shears encourage my self to get my rear in gear and get my tying station up and running. it currently sits in many totes gathering dust . Thank you to all for the great flies and pics. Keep whiping them up.

Could be the lighting. I do tie a pink one like that with bright pink underbody and a latex overtop with a fine wire black rib.

Entirely of partridge except the little dubbed collar. Defiantly a labor of love, I wound at least 7 partridge feathers. The tail is partridge down.
