Default Anybody calling coyotes?

Is anyone out there still calling coyotes. The last few I have gotten have been rubbed pretty badly. Shutting down for this year. What calls have you been having success with as of late. We have been using female coyote howls, then waiting a few minutes, and going to jackrabbit distress.

Starting to get some rubbed but lots are still worth it. Been playing around with howls and distress but so far distress is still what brings em in.

Default slow

Been slow. Pup in distress works well. Called a bunch in last evening but they hung up in the woodline and wouldn't commit. Female invitation howls located them and then switched to the serenade, howling contest back and forth for 20 minutes but they stayed in the trees.

Still calling and having ok success. Been using female howls with young male challenge. Seems to be working alright with about 40% success rate. I’ve been noticing though that probably 75-80% of them have been coming in after 3:00 pm. Then the action gets heavy.

I’ve also been calling on bait sites. Been using that young challenge howl exclusively on the sites and have called in 4 big males in 6 tries. And I’ve been sitting and calling for over an hour with some sets up to an hour and a half.

It’s also been a good winter for foxes as of late as well. The last month we’ve called in 3.
