Last spring I required some repair work on my boat motor. I tried places around Red Deer and was told by these places that it would be a long time, even just to look to see what the problem is. Someone on AO suggested a shop in Didsbury (or Carstairs). I don't remember the name right now and I am on holidays so I can't look it up for you but if you did a search on this site you could probably find it. Anyway, did a great job and had it done within 7 days. Reasonably priced also. BEL

Calgary Powerboat has always treated me right. They do good work and they're straight shooters.

These are pretty simple little motors. If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me.
Most often the only problems are the diaphragm, fuel lines or spark plugs. or impeller.

Anyone have a name for an inboard tune up (Calgary area)?

I recently (last fall) got an old boat from my father. It's a 1978 Glastron, but there is something not quite right with it.

If going from idle speed to 1/2 or more throttle it will hesitate and stall if one isn't careful.

It's also got a small Honda 4-stroke outboard that I think runs fine but wouldn't mind having checked out.
