Registration of Ice huts

Is it time? Huts should have a registration if left on the ice.
Every year huts are left out.

They have to be removed by fish and wildlife guys. Wouldn't their time be better spent on enforcement instead of babysitting?

What do you think?

I am for registration then if left they send you a bill.

My brother in laws fishing hut was dragged off the lake in Manitoba last week. He has to pay $150 to get it back.

I dont like the registration idea... You should have to leave your phone number and fishing licence number. Just like crab pots on the coast.

registration could be free, some guys would leave false info on the hut.

Hate to break it to you but there is no "free" registration when it comes to anything affiliated with the government....

I have no problem with a user fee. To offset the cost of the permit.

NOOOOOOOO! now I am devastated. I am sure they could find a way. And if not don't allow permanent huts unless they are registered. I don't say this because mine is portable, I would approve even if I had a permanent one.

There should be some sort of permit required. Free of charge tho. Name, Win #, phone number. $750 ticket, mailed to your house/put on your name, so its not optional, go to get reinsured and have the ticket pop up.

You should have to pick them up from CT/BPS/F&W, have them print it out and put it in a plastic sleeve that you nail to the door.

So they can be removed or they arevremovedbnd you pay . Alberta is so behind on times makes me gag .

Now as for a type of system somethimg like a bear bait site name phone number and win card number
