Default NSR report as of June 17th

Had some free time today, why not go fishing! Headed down to the fox drove spot and ive noticed the river is finally dropping! No fish today however. From what I remember, the river has dropped a decent amount as I can now stand in one of my spots where I couldn't before. Still real brown, had a bright orange jig on my line and could only see it within 2-4 inches from the top of the water. It seemed pretty busy in the area tonight, though no one was catching anything.

Nice little report. Times like that are perfect for using bait rigs for suckers.

yes the river has receeded a couple feet this week but still very muddy. it's also difficult to bait fish with dead stick as there is a lot of debris to foul or snag your line.

Default Fishing NSR

Hi Guys... New on this forum.

Tried couple of different spots on NSR but no luck. Current is too fast, I hope to this water drop down and slow a bit. I'd like you guys to suggest me some spots on NSR. I'll go to Hermitage Park today and tell you guys if there is anything there.

Take Care.

Default Try whitemud creek or quesnell storm drain

If the river is high and backing up the creek, hike up the creek and fish it where the backed up water meets the creek flow. Right now it's .2m/sec. so it is gonna be up by the footbridge. When the creek is about .6m/sec....try fishing just upstream of the whitemud drive bridge. When we canoed the creek last year there was a 90 degree bend and there was a whirlpool back eddy and it was about 7 feet deep. Look on google earth and you will find it. Look on alberta river flows on google and you will see the creek flows. The Pembina is finally dropping head out when it is around 30-40 m/sec and go down to the pro. park at entwhistle or the creek just down from the cythnia-drayton vally hway bridge that crosses the pembina I is the creek that drains sinkhole lake. Great walleye spot.
