Wow, nice looking piece. Why the spiralled fluting?
Also, where can I read more about these guns? I see that pgwdti.com is under construction.
Hey, are they the guys who do the CF's new Timberwolf sniper rifle? I think I saw that twisty barrel on those as well...
Speaking of cool sniper rifles, what do you guys think of the new Desert Tactical toy?

Is that supposed to be a 5 shot mag, I see? I would guess, you bought it at Toys R Us.

Literally that's some funny chit. I'm guessing it wasn't sub moa.
P.S. That's a nice piece of kit, the NightForce will make a perfect addition.

PGW has had their website down for quite a while. I think primarily from getting so much time wasted by 'internet tire kickers' who don't have much $$ to spend ... but plenty of time to ask questions. On my other computer I have some saved links to thier site that still worked the last time I tried. They seem to have only taken down the home page. And yes... they are the manufacturers of the CF's new Timberwolf .338 Lapua medium range sniper rifle, hence the pile of attention they're recieving. They were formerly named Prairie Gun Works, but in light of thier lucrative Military contract, they changed their name to Prairie Gun Works Defence Technology Industries. I recall the 2 primary guys are named Ross Spagrud and Steve Altstadt. They're based in Winnipeg. They used to do custom rifles, I imagine this would still be true, you could(can?) also buy their bare actions for your own 'smith to perform builds upon. Their site had a list of all the calibres they could chamber for.... it was quite extensive, including oddballs Like Lazzeroni's and Warbirds. I think the spiral fluting they perform is pretty nice looking as well. Those maple leaves on the actions are icing on the cake.
Pricey kit, but I'd justify it in a heartbeat were in a tax bracket that could get me into one.

Whooo. 5 and a half large, eh? I was expecting something like that, but it still puts that thing outside the realm of possibility for me.
Sweet looking rig, though. Once that glass is on it, it's going to be epic.

Obviously, the recession hasn't affected you. So, why would anyone own such an ugly gun, when, for a lot less, you can have the same performance and not scare all the neighborhood women and children?

I did as much internet research on PGW as I could and it sounds like the Timberwolf is available to the public as well. Any guesses on how much it would cost?
