Default Small trout stream early season fishing

I know big Rivers hold fish but what about little streams. Do fish leave over the winter. When do they come back if they do

in little streams you will find alot of the fish will end up overwintering in large beaver pools, if you can locate these you are in for a fun day.

From what I understand, they don't leave the river per se, they spend the time in their wintering holes, deep and not prone to freezing (like dodgeboy's beaver ponds). There will also be migration from spawning which will increase the population of bigger fish periodically. Just need to find the pools

I do not care if there is a big chunk of ice on my favourite beaver ponds in July.

I will take a saw and cut me a path on the beaver dams to go fly fishing on.

And you SRD spies can take me to nut house before charging me.

Global Warming.....phhhhht.
