Not to much of a story really. More luck. I was hunting a new cutblock with some decent sign. I met a guy in there that morning and helped him drag his buck out. A 140 ish deer. We noticed his deer had a big slice in his lip and a broken jaw. 30 min later he spotted another buck with a missing main beam. No ground shrinkage here, best buck to date. 49” of mass 24” beams. Grosses right around 184”.
