Very cool! A lot of work for a little cuttie but always awesome to get another species. Makes me want to get an ice saw for those amazing visuals. Thank for posting the vid.

Love these videos. Does a great job. Hopefully one day 39 hours gets a reboot.

My favourite is the 39 hours series. I also like the episodes when he makes his own pike and musky lures out of fidget spinners, his own hair, and YouTube trophies.....

Wiebe is flat-out the best there is when it comes to YouTube fishing personalities. This wasn't much of a vid....but if you go back through his YouTube playlist, there's some incredible stuff. And yes, 39 Hours is the best...

Love his stuff. Almost has me convinced to buy an ice saw. To bad though our fishing is 1/10 of what it is in Manitoba though!

Not trying to be that guy but pretty certain all lakes in Alberta with cutties have a bait ban on them and cutting a hole that large into the ice has its obvious safety issues. Just saying.
Generally like his vids nevertheless.

You would have to read the regs to know.

For that particular lake you can use bait except for bait fish and you can keep 2 cuties any size.
When people leave a large hole like that they usually stick some long branches in it for a warning marker.

At -30 by the next morning you could step on that hole and not go through. Probably be over 2 inches by then.
People usually mark them as well.

Yup just letting Penner to know what to look for and he’s got nothing to worry about.

They just announced on Facebook that Aaron and Uncut Angling have joined forces with Warrior Boats. That's awesome. He'll be running a Warrior 2090 tiller with a 250 Yamaha on it.

Word is there was a falling out with an Alumacraft rep, which led to this. Wondering if his lack of videos in the past few years maybe ticked off the Alumacraft people. Curious anyhow....

No offense to Warrior but it's wouldn't be my choice of boat for Canadian Shield Lake fishing

All that matters is if he makes 39 hours season 2. Damn that was the most entertaining outdoor show yet

Have you ridden in or fished out of a glass boat? It depends what you’re after in a tiller, but one day in that Warrior in rough water on a bigger lake and you’d know exactly why.
I’d agree with 35 whelen about it not being an ideal remote shield lake or small river boat though. Tough to beat a light weight and MUCH cheaper aluminum in those conditions.

X2. First time I’ve ever actually cheered for fisherman. Definitely put the sport in sportfishing.

All I know about 'glass is that it's not nearly as durable as aluminium. Sure it's faster and lighter, but God help you if you scratch the hull on ANYTHING.....

Dont be spreading rumours...he chose to move away from alumacraft because the biggest tiller their boats are rated for is a 115hp on the competitor 205. He simply wanted a bigger tiller than that.

Yep, when it comes to the high end walleye rigs, it doesn't matter whether it's an aluminum Pro V or glass Warrior, you don't want to be damaging them. They can both be repaired easily enough, but it's not cheap to fix either of them.
