I've have been using this 2 float tube anchor with my Fish Cat Scout frameless pontoon on prairie lakes/winds. Same principle as the Princess Auto one above with pivoting flukes.

Most of the lakes I fish have soft or mud bottoms so this type of anchor with the pivoting flukes is pretty effective, even in stronger winds. Effectiveness is certainly dependent on the type of bottom.
I have been using the Scotty Anchor Lock for the last couple of years and am really happy with it. I usually use a strap-on mount for the Scout pontoon boat. Previously, I used the same anchor lock with a Scotty rail mount on my Fish Cat Streamer XL pontoon. I increased the size of the anchor rope to be more effective with the Scotty Anchor Lock on both boats.
