Once I have more Data on Point of engagement at 1Km and can make hits more frequently then I will likely add some distance to my shooting.

If the Libs are elected I will sell ya my rifle and save you having to do a build. Lets just hope that doesnt happen so I can continue to enjoy my favorite hobby.
Let's hope; although I doubt they will come after bolt action rifles. I shouldn't really say that as my 2nd wife is a Cadex rifle which I saved for quite a few years and it does have that "military" look.

This thing with the Liberals is getting a little ridiculous.

Great looking build. I built a similar calber before the prc was released a few years back. I formed my brass from 375 ruger or 300 win mag brass, which i COW fireformed to blow it out.

It may hold a few extra kernals then the 300 prc but im getting 2950fps with retumbo and wat right around 3000fps with n570. This was with the 225s and a 25in barrel

Ive had it out to 1910yds and its a very consistent caliber.

Where did you get brass?

I hope your custom build doesn’t work out exactly the way you anticipated and decide to sell it as spare parts. I’ll message you my phone number.

Default 225 eld-m

I am thinkning of loading up some 225 ELD-M for spring. I was using 4831SC with 212gr and that was nice. I think the 225 might need H1000 or Retumbo. Any of you have any luck or advice on this?

Default 300 prc

I also just got a 300 prc. Mine was a rem 700 300wm in an accuracy international folding stock. Took it to Henry Remple, reamed it out and went with the KRG bravo for the long mags. I bought hornady brass from Darc Custom rifles in High River and I’m running the Sierra 200gr matchkings for now due to the 1-10” twist. H1000 and I ordered Whidden dies direct from the US. If you choose to do a press upgrade go Redding ultra mag or look at the ATRS press they build. Expensive, but well made.

I haven’t shot mine yet. Hopefully this weekend if it dries up. Love the non-belted case and I already own a 416 ruger so case design is familiar to me. Keep you in the loop
