Default Not a bad day on the river...

aside from the wind. Met up with Noviceguy this morning for a day trip, tried at the 22X for a bit. Llost 2 hookups in the wind tunnel from hell. Off to southland for a bit. Whitefish galore, and one lady rainbow.

Camera ran out of juice, that's all the pics.

Nice meeting you Novice, should do it again sometime!

When you say 22x you mean down in the valley by the golf course below McKenzie by lake Sikome? Or are you talking about the deerfoot extension bridge by Heritage Point?

Wasn't a great pic, that was a 16" bow.

Someone asked awhile back about the size of the whites we were catching, i had never really measured. seems to be more and more 18" + fish.

Was priceless watching Novice with a whitey today, it took a long run across the river, wanted nothing to do with his net.

Well, I stand corrected, it's a brown. Thanks for those who noticed! Wasn't paying attention when I landed it.

Pffft! Catching big whities is easy-peasy.
Now, catching tiny whities, that takes great skill...

Cool looking brown. I've caught one colored very similar to it. I thought upon first inspection it was a rainbow, had to do a double take, but it is definitely silver brown.

Nice fish. Supremely jealous right now. Havn't fished in just over a month now.
