Shore fishing for Grandpa?
Just wondering if anyone could recommend places that fit the following needs.
1. Camping trailer access
2. Shore fishing
3. Elderly compatible
Quick story.
Good friend of mines Dad got diagnosed with lung cancer a few months back, therapy has helped and he is fighting and regaining some strength. Now the kids want to take him out fishing, he use to fish all the time, pre-kids, but providing for the family took precedence over fishing, but now it is something that he talks about doing all the time, however the kids don't fish and have asked me if I know of any spots that they could take him. Unfortunately, I fish mainly from a boat and never pay much attention to the shore action.
So any info would be a great help, and I will pass everything along to the family.
Thanks,
Jacobin

Couple quick questions to try and narrow it down a bit
How far do you want/not want to travel?
What species would you prefer (if any)
A quick one that comes to mind down south here is Pine Coulee reservoir, do a search on the this site and you will get ample amounts of information.

Zeiner campground at Pigeon Lake. Trailer access next to the water. Easy to sit on the shore and fish from there.

If you want a ticket and your Gear taken yep you can . You might want to read your fishing Regulations , that area of the lake is closed .
