Default Beaumont today

Try something different today thinking the ice was off, but it is not. 75 percent pond still has ice. A few spots to cast my fly line but not many. From this time last year (last year major winter kill) I noticed that there is no evidence of winter kill, but not much life either. I Seen one rise in three hours of fishing but could not get her. Stick with the river for now.

That little pond sees a ton of pressure from folks who drive in from Edmonton. Might be best waiting till it gets stocked again.
