Default Remington 700 BDL vs 700 SPS DM

I have a Rem. model 700Bdl which has been excellent.
Is the bolt mechanism on the new 700 SPS DM the same?
If not is it as good, better or worse.

The SPS is like the "Express" version of the 700. Same parts but somehow just not quite the same IMO.

Any model 700's will have the same action.

The finish is different, but basically the actions are the same.

Seems incredible it can be re-produced at the low price, the scoped package with case, can be bought for at Cabelas.

Yes, the screws will work, but we still do not recommend this conversion.

Thank you for that information, I understand the implications and recommendations.
I really want to know if the screws and bottom metal, from the newer SPS DM 700,
will screw or bolt onto the older (25 yrs) 700 BDL action without new holes or screws/bolts being required?
Yes or no?
Regards

Thank you for visiting Remington Country. Unfortunately we do not recommend or endorse retrofitting any ADL or BDL to a detachable magazine system. The reason for this is because the receivers are milled different internally and the conversions will generally leave reliability lacking because of this. There are several kits available on the market, but as mentioned the reliability of the gun can suffer from this conversion.
If you have additional questions, please call us at 1-800-243-9700.

Same question:
Will a disassembled 700 SPS DM stock, bottom metal and magazine assembly fit on to my 25 year old 700 BDL?
I wish to replace the factory wooden stock and hinged floorplate to convert it to detachable magazine with these parts.
