Boyfriends and husbands should always consider getting their mates a single shot rifle. One well-timed duck and you at least have a fighting chance at getting away.

Lol, she picked it all out I just made it happen...

I'm thinking the barrel needs to be shortend by about 5" and I may need to mill a little off under the scope to give it a whisker more clearence... But all around I think it's a good rifle for a new hunter... And the trigger is soooo smooth

Man oh man Hotwheels, you and outygirl sure sound like the perfect couple. Does she run the reloading press too? If so, you gotta marry that girl. Just don't forget to buy her flowers every once in a while, girls like that.

I must admit and I'm sure you'd agree it's pretty awesome having your significant other along side you with gun in hand What do you guys all go after? My wife loves going after coyotes with me.

Well the main thing we shoot at are targets!! Lol
I shot my first deer last hunting season so that was an adventure for me!! I would like to go after something that would make a nice rug on my floor!! It's nice to have meat for the winter too

Lots of paper

We hunted in the fall, she seems to like shooting in the general direction of chickens about as much as I like shooting in the general direction of deer

Was a bit rushed with school ending the season for me early and all but rite now we are focused of this coming season, the biggest challenge is getting guns that fit the female posture and it seems to be more of a challenge then many will admit...

This fall we will be hunting elk deer and maybe a bear again... I don't have the time to chase coyotes with her rite now but I am really trying to find a more balanced career... Sigh..

Nothing wrong with mainly shooting targets, and it can be lot's of fun as well Nice job on the first deer! But sounds like a bear hunt is in the near future, that will be one fun hunt for you
