Default New Boat Question.......

We purchased a new boat, a 2010 Smokercraft, a few months ago and are finally going to be able to put it in the water the May longweekend, besides fuel is there anything else that needs to be done to it?? Thanks everyone!!

Have all of your safety equipment in place and organized. "PUT THE PLUG IN", and enjoy.

Yes make sure you have lots of fuel as you will probably use lots for first weekend. Don't forget to have oil filled assuming a 4 stroke and spare in case. As Dodger mentioned make sure plug is in before backing down the ramp. Make sure you have all the needed stuff by law such as anchor, rope, whistle or horn, bailing can, life jackets etc. Then go have a good time....
