Default Chip Lake

Does anyone know if Chip Lake is a nice place to fish from shore?

I have never fished it- but heard that it is really shallow for a long way out from shore (by the campground I think). Only a rumor- may not be true.

Lake is really shallow, all the way across. The inlet and outlets are probably your best bet for shore fishing

Default chip lake

The outlet by the town of Wildwood used to be awesome in the spring. There was this little white church on the north side of the road, about 3 miles(give or take) west of town. turn there go north another mile and you'll find the river.

Isn't there mainly burbot and small pike in there? I once heard of a guy only catching whitefish where the lobstick flows in, BIG whites too...has anyone seen whites in there?
