I had the opportunity to fish that lake for the first time this year. The pike were still shallow and we caught one pretty much every couple minutes. Little ones were around 25'' and our biggest were 34''-36'' (bottomed out the 12lb scale). Lots of guys cleaning house on them later on and they seemed to spread out again. My first good pike fishing north of Calgary!! Probably would need a belly boat to access most of the better looking areas i noticed now.

Fishing was always pretty good in the spring. Once they went deeper later on in the summer it was hit and miss.
