That guy is gonna have some wicked line twist. Even when the fish was butted into the ice he just kept on reeling like a trooper.
Glad he caught it, nice fish.

Oh yes, and the school was definitely not lake trout as mentioned earlier.

Yeah I was thinking that, unless his reel has a clicker it sounded like he was cranking against the drag pretty much the whole time. I used to do that when I was 8, made for som pretty legandary tangles. I guess with 4lb test and a decent laker on it would be easy to do to some degree.
