Default BIG Walleye!!!!

Had a great 3 day fishing trip. Caught my big one Thursday morning; I was one happy camper!! Took a bunch of pictures & got the measurements; will be getting a replica done! I did have a tag left for one more walleye, but couldn't tag this one, had to let her go. Videoed the release too which was pretty cool, once I get the video from my buddy, I will post it. Hadn't been that nervous about getting a fish in the boat for a while!

That's a pig! Too bad you didn't have the proper tag for it.. Must have been a good fight!

I'm pretty sure by, "couldn't tag this one" he meant he was being responsible by letting the giant go.

It's 82 cm, this is a monster! 62cm is not a monster.

At first I thought this was Cold lake... but I studied the back ground for hours and hours, hahaha! Plus they don't have tags. Beauty fish and looks like you got him bottom bouncing a spinner rig. A lot you can learn from pics.

Is this the year of monster walleye or what? I've seen so many pics of big fish this summer and fall! That is excellent. Good work.

But now it's my turn guys, thanks for releasing for the rest of us.

Yes it was just shy of 82cm! and you are right, I could have tagged it, but would have rather seen this beast swim another day. It was caught @ lake Newell.

That's one impressive walleye, I've rarely caught a pike that big! Good on you for releasing it.

Thanks for letting that big one live another day.

Great feeling to release a large fish back to the lake.
