Default Sad day around here :(

Put the Lund to bed for the winter. Batteries and chargers in the house, oils and filters changed, top stretched tight and tarped.

Now watch the weather change; I will have to do it all over.

Bugger.

At the very worst I was terrified to read :..... "has passed on in his sleep, with his beautiful 27 year old girlfriend at his side. Autopsy showed cause of death was strangulation from his wife of 30 years when she walked into the bedroom and found them...."

Same, the boat has her big nightgown on for winter.

Did mine yesterday too. Any fishing soon will have to be from the shore until ice.

I parked mine last weekend as well. I'm looking at waterfowling, deer season, late moose season, and then into ice fishing!

At least you got to use yours. I traded up wednesday and thursday the new one went into storage. It’s going to be a LONG winter!

You guys do look at the forecast before winterizing right?

That Calgary forecast looks really, really nice. I'm glad I decided to hold off and see...

I guess that is what makes fall fishing so good. It's quiet because so many have winterized too early

Better safe than sorry. Edmonton just got real chilly. Best of luck until next year.

I'm South West of Edmonton so even colder than woosie Edmonton city folks. Looks like a will have a lot of room to run the boat

Next week's supposed to warm up. Should be able to get in another day or 2 if the wind cooperates.
