Default North Sask River Water Clarity

I'm planning on canoeing along a stretch of river downstream of Edmonton for a few days. Just wondering what the water clarity is right now, as I'm from Calgary. Also any reports on recent fishing or tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

If you put in @ 50st launch, downstream on right bank you see a old power gen plant. Just past that plant there's good fishing, also straight across from that spot on the left bank there is a sandbar and if river is low enough you can stop on it and cast.

Myself I would start further upstream like Devon and get picked up around Terwillegar Park or downtown somewhere. It's better scenery West of the city.

50st to smoky lake is a nice quiet stretch, real good fishing around Fort Saskatchewan

The river has been looking quite muddy lately, usually we are starting to see it clearing up a bit by now as spring run off has slowed. Jigging in the deeper pools and any where water is flowing into the river has been working. Good luck!

Thanks for the info, I'll try that stretch of river out next weekend when I go. Anyone know how the sturgeon bite is? Not looking for them in particular, but landing one would be a big bonus
