Default Speaking of alpine lakes...

What's the status these days of lakes like Landslide and Pinto? I used to hike into them a couple of times a year back in the 70's and 80's....

Not sure what you exactly want for status, but Pinto is closed to fishing...Landslide is open year round. What we call hidden Lake (on the way to Landslide) use to be good fishing but both have had more pressure on them the last few years.

Once the weather stabilizes a bit I'm going to take my fling wing into Coral and try for some Goldens.

Nice pic! Hidden Lake is below the outlet on Landslide. It is an easy walk even from the inlet of Landslide. It use to be good fishing.

I remember fishing both Pinto and Job Lakes before they were closed. Job use to have some huge cutthroats, and Pinto had some huge Bulls. Those were the days!!!

Never heard of Lost Guide Lake. A couple others that I've been to...back in the day....are Allstones and Peppers lakes.
