Default Keeley Lake Sask. Camping

A group of my non-commital friends and I are heading out to Keeley lake Sask, for the Sept long weekend. I was thinking about booking the Keeley Lake Lodge, but can only get 2 other guys to fully commit, the rest are maybes. So my question is, are there any other places to camp out there should the lodge book up, or does anybody know of any backwoods/ side of the road spots that could accommodate up to 14 guys. Also is there a public boat launch anywhere on the lake.

Thanks for any pointers!

No public launch, 20 bucks per launch.

Is that even if you are staying at the lodge?

Not sure actually. Should be covered I think if you are staying at the lodge.

Thanks for the feedback, guess I better start ragging on my buddies, or leave them finding their own way

Unless you booked last year you won't be staying at the lodge unless there's a last minute cancelation. It's usally booked a year in advance. They might be able to find you an empty campsite but even that can be touch and go. Good luck.

Spoke with them Friday, and they still have a few spots left, probably gonna just take the campsites though. You can always squeeze extra guys into a tent
