Default Police Outpost

I hear that Police Outpost had at least 50% winter kill , they try to promote this lake as a trophy lake but personally have never caught anything over 18 inches, and then winter kill that I heard effected the large trout more than anything, now the KICKER someone made very poor decisions.
To aeration systems, one electrical and someone made the decisions electrical costs were too much and unplugged the system, the other system was run on propane and guess what the propane ran out , so NO aeration system resulted in winter kill

can anyone else substantiate this !!!!!!

It's old news, and yes, it had a bad winter kill. I heard the propane ran out and the propane truck couldn't access the lake due to the roads being snow covered.

Think this body of water could benefit from a wind powered aerator, ain’t no shortage of that down there......

If anywhere, wind as a back-up... it should work. Good idea. Police Outpost is a spectacular fishery when it overwinters fish. I've had some ridiculously good days there.
