printed regulations
who has found printed regulations? who has them?
I was handed a glossy sheet printed by the govt telling me to go online. I don't do online on my phone and some trips aren't planned, I just head out and think, "... there's some water, think i'll chuck a lure."
kinda crappy without paper regs

They will be out eventually just make sure to check new regs until then.
Or break down and print the few pages necessary.

The regs didn't get approved until much later then usual this year. They were released online because they had to have something in place April 1st but were holding off on approval before printing anything. I don't know what point they are at now but I am guessing the paper copies should be available soon.

The items listed are in reference to the print version of the 2018 Fishing Regulations. While these items are correct in the online Fishing Regulations, the print version of the guide cannot be corrected.

So what it is saying is that there are errors in the pdf/print versions of the regulations and that these are the correct regulations. I figured it would be easy to figure out what they meant by looking at the online regs ( http://albertaregulations.ca/fishingregs/index.html) since they say they are correct. But they don't show any of these changes...
I believe I have figured out the mystery though, I searched default in the regs and believe I found the reference it is trying to point to. If you look on page 54 of the pdf regulations you will see PP1 site specific regulations then find the lakes section part C. It gives default regulations for unlisted PP1 lakes and shows a season of May 8 to Mar 15. I compared it to my 2017 version of the regs and sure enough it used to say open all year. I assume this is the correction they are trying to make and that they just worded it very poorly...

Yeah I have seen that regs are available now.
Make sure to check the online reg corrections above and make those corrections in paper copy.

Printed regs
Well I picked up the 2018 regs at C Tire on the weekend.
I noticed that Ashland Dam is not listed anywhere. It used to be listed under
Watershed unit PP2 but nowhere to found in this guide. The online regs show it now listed under stocked water bodies in PP2.
So the question is...is there a list of all the errors in the printed copy compared to the online version.? Or do we have to sort it out ourselves. I know I know just use the online regs but I do prefer the printed copy when I’m out and about.
