!!!New BBQ/SMOKER recommendation!!!

I need help deciding which to buy: A Traeger pellet smoker or a Weber Genesis BBQ.

I know if I get a smoker, I won't be able to get grill marks on my steaks...but aside from that, can I cook burgers, chicken etc just as well on a traeger? Seems like Traeger is the way to go because anything I can cook on a BBQ I can cook on a traeger plus I get the added benefit of being able to smoke brisket and full birds and such?
