Default Gorgeous day out on Phyllis lake

Had a great day out today at Phyllis lake just my son and I?. Was hoping for a brown trout but never had any interested in my boy or my offerings. The Rainbows though we're a different story. They were attacking well all day just nothing even 10" long?. Then we found loads of perch and had fun with them for awhile then back to looking for some trout. In the end we had great weather and good fishing couldn't of been much better. ?Can't wait to go back again

Looks like a fun day!

Congrats on teaching your son to wear a life jacket. It looked like a hot day with no waves, was it hard for him to keep it on?

Looks like the weather co-operated and I would say there's no better way to spend the day. Some priceless memories made for sure... Thanks for sharing!
