Sylvan Lake

I was out to Sylvan Lake on Saturday (7th). There were open areas along the shore but the rest of the lake was still iced over. The ice does look pretty rotten and if a good wind comes along it should go quickly. It rained quite heavily in this area on Sunday so that may have done the trick. Now if only that same rain clears off the southern reservoirs we can get down to some serious fishing!!!

at the peir people get madd when you fly fish....
sandy shore only produces in fall for whites. used to be perch too.
jarvis bay. lots of big pike. im gonna spend alot of time there.
but after the marinas open its there for the eyes and pike.

i was gonna go fishing in sylvan thinking it was open but its not till may 19 so damn... i was so excited...
