Default Bower Ponds/Three mile bend

Hey Everyone,
I might be in Red deer on Wednesday and have a couple hours to fish. After looking around a bit it seems like Bower Ponds and Three Mile Bend ponds are the places to go in Red deer?? Does anyone have any recent info on how the fishing is? What types of fish? I've heard pike, perch and stocked rainbows...? I can find regs for either of these places so im assuming they just fall under general regs?

Thanks!!

Three mile bend was good for pike 3 or so years ago but now not so much. There are pike in there and used to have perch.

You might want to try burbank, where the blindman meets the rdr.

Okay cool, i'll find burbank on google maps.

Are there still pike in Three mile and they are just harder to catch or are they mostly wiped out?

Sorry misread your post, if you are fishing this wednesday than you cant fish burbank sorry.

As for the pike at three mile bend, they must of been wiped out. But there are still pike in there. There used to be bigger pike in there 10+ pounds.

theres pike over 20lbs, big rainbows, tons of suckers, i havent seen any perch yet but if you rent a paddel boat beside the bridges there open patchesof weedes drop a jig there and yull get suckers lol.
the pike fish beside the erragation by topwaters or weedless bass jigs with a white trailer.
the bows are few and far between. i have found a few on the far side of the lake beside the erragation sipping caddis.
about 20 inch big bows
