Default hermitage pond fishing?

Hey everyone....Im in town(Edmonton) visiting my dad for christmas and we want to go fishing but we dont want to drive to far so we settled on fishing hermitage on friday. Just wondering if we have a good chance at catching some rainbows or do they all winterkill? also whats good to use? Thanks and Happy New Years Everyone!

Every time my brother and me go out to Hermitage we have no luck. Through two fishing trips we had one bite and one came up my hole after a boatman. No much action there.

Find the bottom and come up off bottom a foot then start jiggin slow if you have maggots or mealworms, with just a dew worm find bottom reel up a foot or two then just leave it sitting there, keep your drag loose so the rod doesn't go through the hole, then watch your rod tip for bites.

Wink

I just went ther for about 45 minutes after work from about 7:30-8:15 and drilled 4 holes crossing the front from the dock to the island and used a small techno glow bug with trout bait and no bites either. Quite surprised being close to a full moon n all. Ahhh well you can't always win. I'll give it another shot soon
