Default Ice on burntstick

Hello all,

How is the ice on burntstick/burnstick lake by Sundre?

he is not asking if it`s closed on open, his question is about ice condition...

Why would someone be asking for ice conditions on a fishing site if they weren't planning on going fishing. I'd say, someone better check regs.

Either way, I would say unsafe. +10 today at Sundre.

Warm weather is making the ice unpredictable. Even a lake that is open for fishing can change so much in 1 day with weather like this.

Why not try a river or stream that has no ice on the banks.

Yes I was thinking about going fishing... No I did not check the regs. I guess no fishing for me.....

you can try fishing surrounding lakes.....

Default Ice conditions

Just got back from burntstick lake and it is still frozen over... Not safe to go on, but I would be surprised that the ice will be off by the may long weekend
