Called a Bull Moose inside of 10 yards on Video
I was out doing some scouting and tree stand maintenance and I Called in this Bull almost arms length away on foot in the bush he was grunting it was amazing I had to scare him away as it was getting to close then I ran out to an opening and called him to 8 yards and had to scare him away again lol what a night I wish I had my good Camera.. If you are a Moose Hunter the rut is on!!! First 15 seconds is a bit shaky as I am thrashing a tree and calling while recording then it gets good. At 2 minutes the bull does a snort and the steam coming out of his nostrils is awesome. Is there a way to upload videos onto this site?
If not here is the youtube link Watch in HD Enjoy

Awesome video thanks for sharing. I was trying the same all weekend but I guess they aren't rutting where I was or else my calling sucks. Lol

Thanks Guys I was west of Edmonton around 7:20 pm. Bull was to small I only shoot 60"+
Just joking I didn't have a draw or that video would have ended with the Hoyt doing its job
I uploaded the first video encounter it is very close quarters harder to see but you can hear the bull grunting. I don't know if there is a better sound in the bush.

Good job!
Its been 12 years since I've hunted moose and longer since I've seen anything like that! This really gets my blood going.
I just need to let my shoulder heal then I'll be chasing moose once again. Only this time I'll be using my JM 1895GS to do the job.
Continued success.
