Default Looking for Steiner scope reviews

Hey everyone

Was wondering if anyone had reviews on Steiners line of hu ting scopes? I have never had one but had a look at them and read online reviews and they seem to be built well. Would like some reviews from memebers here if possible.

Default Pretty good

I’ve got the Steiner Predator (I think that’s the model...not at home right now) in a 2.5-10 x 42. Mounted on a Sako A7 in 300 WM...been using it 4 years now and have nothing bad to say. It seems durable enough (I don’t baby my stuff but I also take good care of it) and the glass is pretty good...crystal clear and decent in low light. For the price I’d say you can’t go wrong with it.

Side note: I’ve had a 7.5 x 50 pair of Steiner marine binocs for years for sailing...and they are awesome! I’m sure the overall quality carries over to their hunting scopes.

Have 2.5x10 predator series scope and 8x42 predator binoculars. Both are good. Only used for one season . Clear and decent in low light.

What more do you want? At the end of the day people can express their satisfaction using just a few words or 500. The end result is the same.

PO didn’t mention he is going to shoot 1000 yds and up, so for 1-300 yds all scope are decent - lol, but it’s true

Default Steiners

Cant speak to the scopes directly, but I can speak to Steiners warrenty. I sent some binos with an internal flaw back and it was a nightmare. Never did get them fixed or even back. Best they could offer was a "discount" on a new pair.

Never again.

No shiit Steiner have issue with there scopes, Just got another Steiner last week, is the P4Xi 4-16X56mm, look like a very nice glass, but there is big problem when using turret for dialling in, two mil rad up and two mil rad Right will only give you 1.7mrad up and 1.7mrad Right, this is the second scope I had to send back to manufacture for warranties, the first scope with problem was the T5Xi 5-25X56mm, What a coincidence ??, it will take month if not year to deal with this problem, and steiner manufacture know of this problem. Thank God Steiner do have a full department to deal with Warranties with Customer, from an Old problem that they know it exist, even they guy for the shop know that this had happen before with different scope from the same manufacture. under steiner website, that scope listed as having 30Milrad in total for elevation, I found out at the range that is only had 20Milrad Elevation in Total. what a joke.
