exact location
can any one tell me an exact location to go burbot fishing at gull lake
Or if anyone has a land mark they can tell me so i can find a spot
havn't had a good burbot day in a while

some other details burbotman might want to know include,
-what type of boots worn/color of socks?
-jacket on or off? hood up or down?
-sit on a chair, or a bucket?

Burbotman
I do not target burbot.In the past I have seen good numbers of them
on the northeast side.When you go on the ice from the east side,go
1.34 to 1.35 Kms from the entry point.That will put you on the first point.
Get in a water depth of 6-8 ft of water under the ice.Use smelt or medium
size sardines and you should pick up a few.
BTW these directions are for Gull.

You know, part of fishing is the leg work.
Im sure no one has a problem telling you what lake to fish or even a general area but to come on and ask straight out where to go.........thats a little much.
Fisherman get to be great fisherman by spending time on the water (ice or softwater). All it takes is experience.
Theres nothing more rewarding then finding your own milk run.

Sure...west side of the lake, sorry bud but you have to do some research for yourself, many of us have done our homework to find our honey holes and i dont think many fishermen are willing to just hand it over. Check out depth charts online for the lake, you can find lots of info and tips about gull online, you just need to ask different questions, such as where do burbot like to hang out, what type of lure/bait has been working, what depth have people been finding them, stuff like that not where is your spot so i can intrude on your honey hole.

I already told you a very specific spot in a pm after you messaged me asking for one. look for the sign on the ice north of brownlows close to the point. Now thats twice i've told you, go fish already!
