Default Anyone have mechanical problems on the lake??

We were at Sylvan a few weeks back and the starter decided that it had turned its last rotation when it was started at home. Would not start on the lake, we had to get a tow off the lake by a chevy 1/2 ton. That doesnt work going up palm bay pulling a diesel, we ended up pulling him down, so we ended up in the little parking spot and had to have a tow truck come. They had to winch it up and then turn it. That was embarssing for sure. Had a lucky day fishing though.
Any similar problems on the ice?
Beth
