Is it legal to hunt coyotes with in the province of alberta with a .223 remington

yes it is, as long as you have permission on the land that is the only thing that is pretty much holding you back on shooting yotes. The 55gr hornady v-max does a good number out of the 223

they have been taken with a .22 , believe it or not
