Default not legal in AB but they work

With the right bullets and a disciplined shooter.I loaded .222 for my Dad in Ontario with the old Hornady 55gr with canalure/ a tough bullet. 24gr of Win 748 accounted for over a dozen WT deer and 3 black bear all one shot kills! These baited questions surface semi- annually............read the regs.............the Innuit have been drilling seals,walrus,caribou and even polar bear for years.Flame on.........Harold

If it were legal, I would have no problem using .223 for smaller deer, given the right bullet was used. That bullet is the 60gr nosler partition
