Default every body remembers there first...

big moment from the summer.

as with all little people. its hard to get them to focus on fishing when their not catching anything. he's great when the bite is on, but getting him into his first steelhead was tough!!

for past few summers i've been hotspotting him all the best pools, but just for a few moments at a time, trying to keep if fun. getting his casting and swing down. and hoping for the best.

finally, after three summers he gets a grab, then hooks up on the third swing after.

not a super big one, but his first!! huge moment for me and him!!

Awesome guiding. It sounds like you were teasing a new fisherman as well as chromer. Congrats to both of you for hooking up. Hopefully there will be many years to come of chasing these awesome fish together
