Default Private land access

Good morning, I live in Sherwood Park and Im looking for some hunting access for Grouse and rabbits only - no big game within 60ish minutes drive.
I do most of my hunting up North in 350,353,516 but Id like to start bringing my kids 6 and 9 for an hour or two at a time.
By the time I drive up North, they'd be hopped on sugar and whining to go home (and that's just the way there).
I do have some spare time myself and would be happy to help around the property with light labour or clearing trails etc.
Shoot me a pm of you can help. I'd gladly make the t3ip for a meet and greet.
Thanks in advance,
Al

Get yourself a landowner map and head east and north around Smoky Lake

In case you were not aware, offering any type of compensation in exchange for access for the purpose of hunting is illegal.

http://www.qp.alberta.ca/documents/Acts/W10.pdf

Quote:

barter or offer to buy or sell access to any land for the purpose of
hunting any big game or any fur-bearing animals on any land.
(2)
no person shall directly or indirectly buy or sell, trade or barter
or offer to buy or sell access to any land for the purpose of hunting
any game bird except as provided in subsection (3)

3)
No person shall directly or indirectly buy or sell, trade or barter
or offer to buy or sell access to any land for the purpose of hunting
upland game birds
(a) on privately owned land unless the person holds a licence
issued to the person for that purpose pursuant to this Act
and except in accordance with the regulations, or
(b) on public land that is not privately owned land. .

Yes, aware. Simply put, trails need to be cleared before they can be hunted. I nice reminder why I rarely post anymore.

Cant hunt rabbits and this is by far the worst year I have seen for grouse out there. You would also need the orientation and discharge permit.
