Default Light Bar

Good Morning everyone,

I just have a little bit of a quick question for you all. I did some cruising of the search option but could not dig up what I was looking for. Awhile back there was a thread about some light bars that were getting sold on Amazon that people here really seemed to like because of their relatively low cost and good performance. If you all know of one to recommend I would greatly appreciate it or if you find the thread please send it my way.

Thank you all in advance!

You can find them on Ebay as well, generally a bit cheaper than Amazon. More selection as well. Look for sellers that stock in US, although they are all made in China. Shipping prices are the biggest difference between sellers. You can find the same bars that are rebranded by North American companies, only a few companies produce here but the price and quality reflects that. I picked up a 12" for a Quad for $100 with switch and shipping, defiantly good enough for that application, and bright!

Light bar supply is where I got mine. Cheapest place I found, just make sure you order the wire harness separately. The bars don't come with one

I've bought several different styles/outputs off Amazon from a seller who goes by the name Kawell. Every light I've bought from them has been high quality (for a cheap light), and worked flawlessly in each application I've used them on (skid-steer, quad, truck, worklights). No leakage issues to date either. I have no connection with them, but I'm very happy with their products.
Search Amazon.ca for Kawell and you'll see their entire line up if you're interested.

I have a 20" ridgid I'd be willing to part with ( obviously used) or could hook you up with my neighbor who sells LED's.

How did you find the quality of the ones that you have purchased from light bar supply? Also thanks again to everyone for giving me your opinions!

I have a 32" curved on my truck that I have not been able to use yet. Have not done a lot of highway or gravel road driving in dark. Also have a 20" on my quad. Love that one. The construction seems good. It's a aluminum housing with glass front seems solid. Will get to use it lots this fall when traveling highways.

Bought a 52" curved off Amazon.ca for $ 219 shipped 2 years ago. Initially bought to put on my Rhino but when it come in it fit the bumper and curve of the front bumper on my 2009 Chev2500HD really nicely. So I mounted this on the truck and ordered another for my rhino.

Seen now listed between $135-$250. Different brand but all be the same. Most come with wiring.

I believe I seen one listed on Amazon and EBAY that is a 20" bar with mounts specific for the lower slot on the front bumper. Fits right inside. I was going to get one for my new truck (2017 HD)

what for?

I bought the product at HomeDepot. The lights are fixed and not replaceable tubes. Have the installed in the garage. Wish I had tossed my old florescents out years ago.

Default Led Light Bar

Have bought several light bars off eBay over the years. Suggest getting light bars with the Osram led's, these are the same that Rigid uses. Suggest you read the eBay's sellers feedback reviews, unless it's at least 98% or better and has sold over 5000 products stay away. If you're looking for a heavy duty wire harness look at hidkitpros.com, they have what is called Totron heavy duty wire harness, good for 800W-8AWG wiring, heaviest wire harness I have seen so far. Want a good wire harness if you're going to use a high wattage light bar, otherwise you may melt some wires and have a fire. Have a 240Watt light bar on my truck now that going down the highway it doesn't quite light up the third power pole ahead. Bright enough for me and anyone that doesn't dim their lights coming towards me....LOL

I have a new rigid 50" marine white I bought for my boat but is 2" too wide for my purpose if you want a good one. $850 which is less than half price

Think it’s like $190 all in

Guess I had already said this. Lol

On a hockey bus trip and just cruising around. Guess I should read the entire posts 😆
