Default Rocky Boots

I took out my Rocky Stalker boots to get ready for a day of bird hunting, and the soles have turned to dust. Really, I can crumble apart the lugs and sole in my fingers.

I searched this on google, and found it is a pretty common failure of these boots, and of course Rocky will do nothing about it.

Anyone else come across this ?

My last pair didn't last the season. That was the last pair of Rockies I've bought. Won't waste my money on anything else with that has their name on it.

Wow I just bought new hunting boots the other day, I had a pair of Rockies in my hand but put them back! Glad I did hearing this. I have there pants and don’t care for them either. But my old boots were Rockies and lasted pretty good but I melted them drying them out at the fire.

Soles fell off my pair of Rocky's. Shoe repair shop reattached them and assured me they are all good now. Rocky said FY. Will wear them till they fail . Never again.
