Exclamation SKS and ammo package!

Hi folks,

Moreguns Supply out of Manitoba has SKS's for $99.99 if you order a case of ammo with it. For those who want a SKS, here is the chance to get one for a decent price and a go blast a few rounds off! Check them out online and have fun.

Not a bad deal,
for an SKS+1200 rounds
$369.99+49.99 ship

WSS has the same crate of ammo I boughts for $199
That would leave me with about $220(average price)for a SKS local.

So I think if you were to go out and buy this combo local it would be about the same cost.

Good site with lots o stuff have you ever dealt wiyh them?

Default sks

You have a point,10-22! I did not do all the homework to see if it was any cheaper, just a heads up for those who want a sks. A lot of places offer free shipping on cases of ammo and guns, if that were the case it would be a better deal for sure. The sks is a lot cheaper than my 1943 AG-42b though....cost me nearly $80 for 40rds shipped outa Prince Albert. Very unique gun though, a awesome piece to display and shoot.

He left a bad taste in my mouth. I purchased 500 pieces of winchester once fire brass off of him. He took forever to ship and when I finally received it there was 400 pieces of mixed brass. First off he sent me mostly military brass and there was a small fraction that was actually winchester. He wouldn't refund me for the brass he shorted me or send me the other 100 pieces. Complete *****hole and I don't recommend buying from him. He was a dealer on gun nutz but was removed (probably because he made many people angry). His username on gun nutz was ki11ercane. Buy with caution.

I think there was also a thread on Gunnutz describing how they shipped a rifle wrapped only in a plastic bag. (You can confirm at CGN if it was that shop) Moral of the story...research the shop before you buy.

The local Wholesale Sports had them in last summer for about $230, and right now ammo is $210 a case, but better deals are to be found if you are persistant and maybe willing to get it shipped from somewhere. A buddy was saying a while back a place in Yorkton ,Sask. had some killer deals on guns and ammo, but the shipping usually kills that.

Frontier Firearms has russian ones for $240 and free shipping on right now. Maybe not the best screaming deal but reasonable I think?

I bought one about six weeks ago from WSS on St.Albert trail.

Rifle + 1000 rounds ammo + tax = $469.

They only had two left and they might be sold by now.

Their price is $199.00 which is about average. I've never heard of them going cheaper. They also have the ammo cases. I don't know about packs of 5, but you could give them a call (403) 720-4867. Can't heard to ask for a combo deal, all they can say is no.

I paid $199 for mine at the Shooting Edge, mine is a Chinesse SKS, I think the Shooting Edge currently has the Russian one's in stock.

But then you would own an SKS and who in their right mind would want to do that?

Yeah, what's the point if you can only have 5 rds?

It's like buying a CZ58 or an AR. Unless you get LAR-15 mags.

I dealt with K1llercane a couple of times, and he bought off me too. No problems, but this was before he opened his store.

Yorkton Home Hardware is the place in Yorkton. Beware of their shipping costs.

Westrifle has some good deals too. As does Ed at Moving Target. Trade Ex did have a gun and ammo deal, not sure if they still do though.

Default moregunssupply

I've had several transactions with Sean @ Moregunssupply.com and they have all gone really smoothly, including next day shipping on all of them.

Whilst others might have had different experiences, mine have all been good and I've gotten several things from him including my SVT-40.

He's also selling SKS 5 packs.

Like I said, I dunno what others have experienced but I can only vouch for me and it's gone OK. So far.

Wolverine Supplies out of Manitoba has Norinco Chinese SKS's in stock for $189 plus shipping and tax....the website does not list shipping charges but it may be worth looking into.

So you don't like the SKS. Why bother posting then?

Default Moregun Frauds

Sean with Moregun, out of Manitoba, Killercane etc, was kicked off of gun nutz. You know what it takes to get thrown off GunNutz? The guy is a crook! There is even a following of Victims on Gunnutz trying to recover their money. I have an outstanding order, 10 months old, pre-paid as all purchases are, worth over $6,000 originally. Refuses to return calls. All legal claims must be filed against his business in Manitoba courts, meaning I will have to travel to recover the debt.
There are to many options at home here in Alberta to risk dealing with this crook.
